France Travel Consultation – How it Works

1. Select a time in the online calendar below. The time slots shown on the calendar are in your time zone.

Be sure to include any important information, such as:

  • Dates of travel
  • Where will you be traveling from?
  • How many people and what ages (roughly)?
  • Is the trip a special occasion? ( graduation, anniversary, honeymoon, etc…)
  • What are your likes and interests?
  • What is your travel style – ie. Budget, mid-range, luxury
  • Anything else that’s relevant that I should know

2. The booking engine will take you to the payment page. Payment is by credit card.

3. Once the payment is processed, I will email you to confirm your appointment as soon as possible. This email also contains the Google Meet link ready to use during your call.

4. We will talk via Google Meet at the arranged time. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and that you have granted Google Meet access to your microphone before our session.

5. If you haven’t really started planning, we can craft an itinerary together that you will book yourself. If you already have a rough itinerary, I will provide feedback, and we can adjust /modify it together if necessary.

6. After the consultation, I will send you an email summarizing the key points discussed and confirming any other steps you may need to take. This can include links for hotels, tours & activities, restaurants, and anything else we discussed.

Cost

Private consultations are charged USD95 /hour. This launch offer is only available for a limited time.

One hour covers new itineraries (from scratch) up to 7 days or longer prepared itineraries wanting a sense check. There are other options available for 1.5 hours and 2 hours.

The price includes the consultation time, the preparation of the follow-up mail, Stripe’s payment process fee, and contributes to pay for the other tools that I use for this consultation.

The price does not include any preparation prior to the meeting, so I cannot guarantee I’ll have time to read any information you send me beforehand.

Payment is required before your booking and is charged by credit card.

Why Use Me?

My name is Elisa. I am a French travel writer and founder of World in Paris and France Bucket List. I also have a very active Facebook Group about France travel planning and inspiration.

I live in Paris and I travel in France all year round, by car or train, sharing my best findings and top tips.

During my trips, I visit new places and old favorites to ensure my info is up-to-date and helpful. Just like you, I take trains, rent cars (as a good Parisian, I don’t have one!), stay in hotels, and enjoy the local food. Because I speak French, I can have long conversations with locals and tourism professionals who always give me the best tips!

In addition to my love for France and travel (I have visited 80+ countries and counting!), I like photography, history, and architecture. I also love French wine and am studying to become a French Wine Ambassador. I have the last exams in October, so wish me good luck!

My favorite regions are Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Grand Est, not necessarily in this order. I like to call Nice, Lyon, Colmar, Avignon, and Bordeaux “my second homes.”

In my previous life, I worked as an architect and in project management and planning. With my local knowledge and planning skills, I hope I can help you plan your trip!

If these times do not suit you, please email us at bonjour [at] worldinparis [dot] com requesting an alternative time.
